Consciously crafted. Our timeless pieces are handcrafted with the highest-quality materials and responsibly sourced fabrics. For us, sustainability is not just a phrase put into a section in our shop to shine in bright lights - we created madeforsunsets around the idea of spreading sustainable products.

RECYCLED FABRIC

Our swim shorts are made of 100% recycled polyester from Italy. For our bikinis we used a sustainable fabric made from plastic waste such as fishing nets recovered from the ocean. By using recycled fabric, our planet and our ocean get cleaner.

ORGANIC COTTON

Organic cotton is made without harmful pesticides, chemical bleaches or dyes and is allergy free. Conventional cotton has long-term and highly negative effects on nature. More chemicals are used in production and these have devastating effects on water, air and soil.

LINEN

Our oeko tex certified linen is fast drying, highly absorbent and especially pleasant to wear in hot weather. Our garments are pre-ironed, but linen has a high tendency to wrinkle, therefor wrinkles may occur. 

RESPONSIBLY SOURCED PACKAGING

We are constantly searching for new and innovative ways to be as sustainable as possible. Our boxes and postcards are made from FSC-certified paper, which has been sourced in an environmentally-friendly and socially-responsible manner. We don't use any plastic in our packaging.
